I’m excited to hear your plans! Let’s grab a coffee and have a chat about what you want for your day. It’s really important to make sure we’re on the same page about photography style and our approach to the day. If we’re living too far from each other to meet up, we can stick on our respective kettles and have a video chat.
Once you’re ready, I’ll send over the contract and details to secure your booking. A deposit will lock in your date.
A pre-wedding photoshoot (sometimes called an engagement shoot) can be a great way to remove any worries you might feel about being in front of the camera on your wedding day. You can see it as a practice run. It will take about an hour, we’ll get to know each other a bit better, and as you get into the swing of it, you can ask me any questions that might pop up for you. By the end of it you’ll have some lovely photos, you’ll have surprised yourself by how much fun it was and you’ll feel better about what to expect on your day. It’s not for everyone, but I would recommend it, and it’s no extra cost.
The initial coffee and chat we had will have been an overall vision for your day. As your wedding approaches, you will have more details organised and possibly some things may have changed or been added. I’ll touch base closer to the date to finalise the timeline, locations, and any other key details. In the meantime, you can always reach out to me to chat through anything.
The best thing about hiring professionals you trust is that all the planning pays off, and on the day you can totally relax and trust that I know what I’m doing so you can focus on everything but the photograph planning!
